Afghan defense chiefs resign after Taliban attacks

Afghan defense minister and army chief have resigned over deadly attacks in Army base camp last Friday, the presidential palace said. Insurgents targeted troops leaving Friday prayers at the base's masque in a canteen, the army said. according to army source it was the deadliest attacks by the Taliban on the armed forces since US- led forces drove them from power in 2001.
